An example of patience

Read this first: James 5:10
The Old Testament gives many examples to teach us; James uses its prophets. They spoke God’s words in the teeth of opposition, hatred and persecution, and were vindicated. Their perseverance should inspire Christians to live consistently by faith in Christ. By God’s grace, we can resist the sinful desires prompted within us by pressures around us. Live for the Lord.
