Read this first: James 5:9
When miserable, we often like to spread it around, especially by moaning about, or to, other people. James reminds us who is listening when we do so: the Lord! Would we like to explain our whingeing to Him? However, his nearness is positive too. If something needs sorting out, pray! He’s near at hand to hear. So don’t turn concerns into gossip: ask Him to deal with them.
