These posts stem from a series of Sunday morning sermons on the book of James in the New Testament. Each time I preach on a passage in James, I follow it up with seven daily emails containing short comments on the verses I covered. These can be read here as posts with the subtitle “Brother of the King”. They include a link to the particular verse(s) being commented on, which should be read first. Note that the online reading will be the latest version of the New International Version whereas the post titles come from the older, 1984, version.
I’ve written similar short thoughts in the past on Mark’s gospel and 1 Samuel. The former can be viewed in a small webapp I wrote, which is accessible here: Gospel Prayer. The latter were posted on this Substack under the title “Think of the king”.
