Read this first: James 5:8
The anxiety James’s hearers feel must stop leading them into poor conduct; they must not build their lives on the flaky foundations of their emotions and desires. The rock they need to build on is the Lord who, when he comes, will right all wrongs done to them and provide for all their needs. Entrust your fears to the Lord and then focus on his kingdom (Mat 6:25-34).
