Read this first: 1 Samuel 25:23
The tense moment is here: Abigail meets David. But before a word is heard, she dismounts to humble herself before him. Action, posture and facial expression all reflect our attitude to another and flavour the words we then speak. This is seen in the Bible in the variety of ways people approach God in prayer: standing, bowing, lying and so on. Do you vary how you pray?
