The sword of Goliath
Think of the King - 315
Read this first: 1 Samuel 21:8-9
Finally, David reaches the issue which brought him here: Goliath's sword. Previously, he had it (17:54) but must have sent it to God's tent. Now he requests it back, but in a way that hides his motive. Which is? To seek refuge in Goliath's home town (v10)! Following the Lord may take us to unexpected, uncertain or unwanted places. But keep trusting Him (Joh 21:18,19).
