Read this first: 1 Samuel 20:31-32
In his rage, Saul is violently unjust. Jonathan's question points that out. David has done nothing disloyal or harmful to Saul. So the king's anger is just jealousy of David rising from a heart unwilling to obey God's ways (15:22,23). In our dealings with others, we should behave fairly and justly, in line with God's word (Lev 19:15). Don't let your temper interfere with that.
