Read this first: James 3:16
James carries on demolishing worldly wisdom. Some 'friends' seem to understand the game of life, and promise us good times. But what's in their hearts? If it's self-promotion or envy, then they will actually do us great harm, as the inconsistency between their motives and their words brings evil. Don't fall for their talk. Rather, listen to those who humbly speak of Christ.
