You believe that there is one God

In reply to James querying what motivates his good works, the Jewish critic insists it's belief in the One, true God (Deu 6:4)! Admirable, but hardly evidence of real faith, since demons know that fact and it terrifies them. Living well simply because God's wrath frightens us isn't enough. Loving trust in Him is what the Lord wants from us. Do you live by faith, or by fear?
