Read this first: 1 Samuel 31:5-6
Saul's sin has fatal repercussions for others. He should have learnt from Adam (Rom 5:17) or, at least, from Eli (2:30-34) this would be so. But Saul ignored the lessons of the past. Sin is unbelievably stupid and highly dangerous. This truth is written in our history books and seen in our own lives. Be the student who learns the lesson. Then turn to Jesus who saves from sin.
