Read this first: 1 Samuel 30:26-31
David's generosity spreads out even wider as he enriches places back home in Israel ( despite the fact they never offered him a safe place to live). Our first duty is to care for those whom God has put in our lives (1Ti 5:8). However, it is also good to give to the needs of Christians who live far off (1Co 16:1-3). What opportunities has God given to you to show such kindness?
