Read this first: 1 Samuel 29:3
Philistia's commanders do not trust David's squad. Achish, however, insists he's spent enough time with David to know he's loyal and true! Yet he's wrong (27:10-11) and should heed their comments. A new contact may make a big impression on us. But if friends or colleagues are unsure of them, don't brush off their concerns: some people are not what they first seem.
