You and your sons will be with me
Think of the King - 423
Read this first: 1 Samuel 28:18-19
Samuel is expounding the results of Saul's sinful disobedience. He would not handle evil as commanded, so he will lose a battle, his sons and his life. This is where godless rule leads. So thank God for our Lord Jesus Christ. In perfect, obedient self-sacrifice on the cross, he dealt with evil in exactly the way His Father wished. And that victory brought life to him and to us.
