Read this first: 1 Samuel 28:8
Saul deploys secrecy for his foul trip, going at night with no royal robe and only two guards. And when he asks the woman to contact the dead, he doesn't say the name. Why? Most likely because saying 'Samuel' would scare her as it was his death that led Saul to expel mediums (v3). Don't hide your sins in secrets. Let Christ light up all your life to banish sin (Eph 5:11-14).
