David's propaganda leads Gath's king mistakenly to believe that he's so deep into rebellion that David can be commanded to fight with Philistia against Israel. Yet not long ago, Achish thought David mad (21:15)! In its sinful pride and ignorance of God the world can easily swing from one belief to its opposite. Don't build your life on the loose sands of popular thought.
