May your enemies be like Nabal
Think of the King - 378
Read this first: 1 Samuel 25:26
David has halted. Abigail rejoices and says she hopes all his enemies will be fools like Nabal and reap appropriate consequences from the Lord. Such words could bring trouble, given one of David's enemies is Saul, but she speaks with care. Saying the right thing is not always easy. Let's be willing to forgive others' clumsy words, even as we hope they'll readily forgive ours.
