It seems David is only protected from Saul's trap by local geography and he's about to lose that advantage! However, before they can grab him, Saul's forces are called away to deal with an enemy incursion. The Lord always has solutions to our problems. They may not be what we expect. But let's not limit God by our tiny imaginations. We can trust Him to do what is best.
