David stayed in the desert
Think of the King - 337
Read this first: 1 Samuel 23:14-15
Like his forefathers escaping Egypt, David finds himself navigating a wilderness, pursued by his enemy. God keeps him safe there, but David still has to live with the fear that Saul will hunt him down (cf Exo 14:11-14). Our faith is sometimes tested by hard places in life where all we can do is cling on to the Lord. Let's not fall into despair like Israel, but have faith in Him.
