Read this first: 1 Samuel 22:2
David's cave is not a pleasant home. People join him, but only those running from their own troubles or frustrated with others who cause problems: David leads an army of the miserable. Will that help? It's unlikely to. Complaining is necessary at times. But there is the danger of it dominating us, especially when fed by the misery of others. We need salvation not dejection.
