Am I so short of madmen?
Think of the King - 318
Read this first: 1 Samuel 21:14-15
The bizarre show David puts on makes him seem so comical that it saves him from Achish's vengeance on his enemy. Instead, the king mocks his officials as adding to his existing band of madmen (meaning them?) and David escapes, once more, to seek a home. The mercies of the Lord come in many forms. Don't overlook those which, on the surface, may look a little odd.
