Read this first: 1 Samuel 14:13-14
The scale of Jonathan's risk is now apparent as he scrambles over steep rocks on hands and feet. Yet on arrival the victory of the two men is overwhelming, despite the enemy having plenty of space to manoeuvre in. The path the Lord takes us on may be a hard and tiring. But if we live by faith the blessings we then receive will energise us like nothing else in this world.
