Think of the King - 10
Read this first: 1 Samuel 1:17-18
Eli fails to comprehend Hannah, doesn't ask about her prayer, can't call God 'Lord' and sends her away with a vague wish. But she knows the Lord has heard, hopes this faulty priest can accept what her vow will bring to him and joyfully returns to the feast. With some matters we may pray intensely for a time and then move on, happily certain the Lord will do what is best.
