Think of the King - 2
Read this first: 1 Samuel 1:3
Elkanah worships God at the Tabernacle nearby in Shiloh. But he fails to notice, or chooses to overlook, the corruption which soils the tent (2:12). Families and societies need men prepared to lead in ways which reflect the ways of the heavenly King, the Lord; without such leadership wickedness will rise. Sadly, churches can deteriorate this way too, causing God to judge them.
