The Psalm 8 quote continues. Man began life naked in the safe space of Eden’s garden, where animals were controlled by God (Gen 2:15-25). This shows Adam’s initial immaturity, his need to be cared for: man was lower than angels. However, his glorious destiny was to be God’s king on earth (Gen 1:26). Sadly, Adam’s sin wrecked that future. But Christ came to restore it.
