The gospel message is grounded in history. Words were spoken, and events occurred, which were observed by others. These witnesses then testified to the gospel, and kept doing so even during terrible persecution: men and women died for their refusal to deny that Jesus is the resurrected saviour who suffered for our sins. How deep does your devotion to Christ go?
