Two hundred men were too exhausted
Think of the King - 440
Read this first: 1 Samuel 30:9-10
Fresh confidence, thanks to God's directing (v8), is quickly battered in David when one-third of his troops drop out exhausted. Tiredness is hard to manage, and we can doze off when we really shouldn't. Sometimes, this is out of our control. But, where we can, we should seek the good rest God provides and not allow our foolish behaviour to steal our sleep (Psa 127:2).
