His men joined the woman
Think of the King - 426
Read this first: 1 Samuel 28:23
Saul resists help. But rather than tell him to seek God's mercy in his distress over his doom, his men join the medium and press him to eat. And Saul listens to the temptation. God brings trials to test and teach us, that we may know him better. So when others offer you an easier route, do not rush down it. First ask what would God have you do (as Jesus did - Luk 4:1-12).
