Think of the King - 409
Read this first: 1 Samuel 27:10
David gives Achish the impression he's attacking Israelites. This deception is necessary to prevent the Philistines from attacking him at this point. Such tricks are vital in the warfare of this world. However, the kingdom of heaven isn't built this way. Our king, Jesus, spoke the truth at all times, without fear, overcoming his enemies by the power of God (John 18:33-38).
