Read this first: 1 Samuel 23:1-3
Some of David's recent decisions have ended badly and his old confidence (18:14) has gone. So for the first time since his anointing, he asks God to guide and the Lord tells him to save Keilah. But his moany men (22:4) think not. Life's choices are not always easy; doing what's right can be hindered by others or our own hearts. Keep God's word before you as your guide.
