A man after his own heart
Think of the King - 171
Read this first: 1 Samuel 13:14-15
Saul followed his heart and lost a kingdom. The Lord leaves him. Samuel leaves him. Then Saul finds four fifths (v2) of his army have left too. The Lord blesses those who follow his heart not their own sinful one. In David he finds such a man (Ac 13:22). But Jesus surpasses David for he is the Son of God who literally has Lord's own heart within him. Praise our divine king!
