Think of the King - 148
Read this first: 1 Samuel 12:1
Saul passed his test so Samuel formally recognises his kingship before the Lord. The people also honour the Lord's hand in all this and a joyful feast is held. This all began with a wicked act (8:7) but the Lord has turned it to good. Our king above is gracious, forgiving and kind. We should be deeply ashamed of mistreating him but also know there's a way back when we do.
