Think of the King - 22
Read this first: 1 Samuel 2:11-12
Samuel, a firstborn son of Ephraim (1:1), now serves in the Tabernacle. The Levites should be doing this, standing in for the oldest sons of Israel's families (Nu 8:18), but the worthless sons of Eli cause him to adopt Samuel. God must be: our first love in life; our first concern every day; the first recipient of our service. But sin leads us to disregard him. Is that true of you?
