Read this first: Hebrews 3:7
When the Bible is read out loud, we hear the voice of a person, but we are also hear the voice of God. So pray for those who read the Scriptures to the congregation, for their task is an important and serious one. Pray for those who are listening, that their ears would be open to hear. And ask God to grant His special blessing to both the reader and the hearers (Rev 1:3).
